Hondo.

An unused branding project for a start-up wine producers Hondo.

The concept was a brave twist for a wine brand that has been built on layers of both tradition and modernity. Paying homage to the rich historical background of Seville and the pain staking process of wine production, I developed a branding that aimed to strip away conventions while exposing the journey to get there.

Bottle labels were designed in a way that required layers of textured paper to be placed on top of one another. This tactile weight and worked edges added to the craft and story of Hondo.

Unfortunately, the project didn’t go ahead but was one I really enjoyed working on and would love to try and work with similar businesses in the future.
